Okay, a couple of technicalities here. We’re not playing the outdoor stage. We’re playing the “afterparty” in The Loving Touch. I think it’s still officially the street fair, but I’m not really sure. Anyhow, we’re on at 1 a.m.; so, that’s actually Saturday, right? Have I confused you yet? If so, here’s what’cha do. Make a night of it. Bands start on the main stage (on Troy St. off Woodward Ave. between The WAB and The Emory) at 6. The evening begins with Bars of Gold followed by Oscillating Fan Club, Serenity Court, Octopus, Grande Nationals, The Hard Lessons and Lucero. They’re on at 10. Music at The Loving Touch starts at 8:30 (hence, my confusion about the term “afterparty”). The lineup there is Bixy Lutz, Patrick Davy, Lightning Love, The Strange, The Beggars and, finally, Old Empire. You can get the entire lowdown on the happenings here.
